I have met this months challenge I am very happy to say.
Last post I recorded the wool felt needle case, now I can show the quilts.
The second part of the challenge was to work on Anthology.
Anthology started when the book arrived back at the end of March 2020. It was a challenge between Ingrid and myself to make the blocks and then a quilt.
The first block was made April 2020 and the last August 2023. I made some filler blocks but have no idea where my brain was as I made then a third of the size they needed to be!! Talk about making the job harder than necessary. At the last retreat I sewed on the sashings and put together one quilt, Margaret kindly sewed the other one for me. Joan quilted them and I have done the binding and label and here they are
There were 183 blocks in total, 90 in each quilt and three left over. I am super happy to have this done,
then you Deana for keeping us motivated each month.
Happy stitching.
These quilts are fabulous! Very well done!
