Bolarina, the man made lake you could go under the bridge and on the other side was a larger lake for all kinds of water sports

Memorial walk in Bulcock Street, even though  this says Australia's entertainer he was a Kiwi from Onehunga in Auckland.

back on Bulcock Street, there were many plaques along this street. Part of this street was blocked off when we were there, they were setting up for a Winter Solstice fair and concert, lots of bands were setting up their equipment.
