My efforts at the Chookshed Stitcher's Challenge have fallen by the wayside this last month
I didn't find time to do July's challenge
so it has returned to the shelf, maybe I will get time later in the year?? After doing the Kathy Doughty class I am a little more confident to tackle this one.
This month the challenge is #7 and that means
trying to get the Daylesford quilt finished.....I have fabric for the backing on the back of the couch, that is a start isn't it??
I am off to do some more on the quilt top from the Kathy Doughty class, or I might go back and read some more 😀 I have a good book!
Happy stitching.
There is a time for different things in our lives, what's your good book that is distracting you? Love that sloth - looking forward to see it come together and Daylesford is a wish list one for me...

Sometimes it's hard to put down a good book, isn't it? I imagine you learnt many fabulous applique tips from Kathy Doughty, Sue. Love your sloth quilt. There are some pretty fabrics in the Daylesford quilt. Enjoy your book. =)
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your #7 the Daylesford Quilt.

I’m sure you will do what you can, and enjoy yourself, whatever it is. This isn’t meant to be a chore. I love your version of the Daylesford Quilt.
ReplyDeleteI love both these projects Sue - the Sloth can easily wait for another day and it looks like Daylesford is getting towards the end...it's also one that's on my 'one day' list.....!
ReplyDeleteWell I for one will forgive you, after all I went way off the Chookshed track these last few months. LOL I'm sure you will manage something this month.
ReplyDeleteI am catching up on your posts Sue. Your class sounded so wonderful & I think it would have left me buzzing to do more. But yes, when a good book is calling to us, I can relate to that too!! xx
ReplyDeleteyes, sometimes a good book wins out!
