Last Sunday Shane and I went to investigate the Flying Cider Brick Company...the name sounded interesting...I didn't know that here on the Bellarine Penninsular the Yellow tailed Black cockatoos are known as flying bricks!!! Who would have thought!!!
We had a lot of these at Gisborne, they loved the hakea trees and the seed pods in them....
anyway I digress!!!
We tested the pear cider....sat and chatted for a while...then had to move on as the rain came....has a lovely restaurant inside too by the way....and outdoor fireplace....
love the logo!!
Yesterday Shane & I went geocaching..so he would understand what I am doing when I tell him...we went to Leopold and found the right location but no cache.....mmmm....
I am sure he is thinking "Does she really know what she is doing?" Lol!! We did finally find one...thank goodness...there has to be some reward for walking around in circles and up and down hills in the rain!!!
I have been doing some knitting but no sewing, the machine is packed away until the renovations are finished, maybe in three weeks....not holding my breath!!
Off to visit the Gisborne girls tonight, so I am looking forward to that and then tomorrow it is sewing day with the Bellarine Quilters!!! Lovely couple of days!!!
I am doing my best!! Lol!!
Happy sewing.
