I have been busy making jam and chutney, using tomatoes form the garden and some apricots I bought but no one ate!!
Bubbling away and it smells wonderful!!
Yum!!
I have been gathering tomatoes from the garden before the birds get them all...this one made me smile!!
today I gathered lots of tomatoes, softened the skins in hot water, then put them through the moulie and filled jars with the pulp, added basil and then boiled it for two hours. Thank goodness for lots of collected jars!!
more chutney and some Roma tomato chutney, kind of runny but smells wonderful with star anise and cinnamon and honey in it!!
I have also been doing some sewing, which is just as well as I have some deadlines looming!!
the tram has had some quilting done, now I have to figure out how to trim it before sewing it to the back ground...
the bollard tram conductor still looks like a bollard but she is coming along!
the sky is coming together and two palm trees, some scribble quilting is now needed to keep all the little pieces where I want them to be!! And that is where I should be now, instead of avoiding!!
Happy sewing.
