But the ladies at Bellarine Quilters had a wonderful show and tell
(watch out here come the photos!!)
But first this was the sunrise
Christine has made this quilt for her sister
and repaired this quilt for a lady who appeared one day and asked if anyone could do repairs...the top left kangaroo had frayed out, this quilt was a gift after bush fires 25 years ago and is much loved. Christine replaced the block.
Sue's beautiful row by row quilt...we have a row by row challenge at the Bellarine group this year and our first block is a nine patch.
This is a quilt Angela made from scraps and Leslie quilted for her. This was put together on Saturday, quilted on Sunday and on Monday was ready for binding!!
Magda showed us her finished quilt, she did a tutorial on this a few weekends ago.
She also showed a watercolour quilt that was made a while ago
and a string quilt....
and some little picture quilts made for a niece..aren't they lovely!!
Sue was working on her Block of the month, the binding was going on on Saturday, hand sewing on the weekend.
Leslie with her Christmas tree, made using small squares, this quilt and the following quilts came in after a conversation on the previous week..
Angela's beautiful Cassowary , made with 2 inch squares
a Queensland quilt
and pansies...there are half inch pieces in here!!!
All the sewing on the brown row has gone, now I need to pin it into submission and have another go, but before I do that I am going to try and give the tram lady her knitting needles!!
Happy sewing.
