ready to be sewn..
I have been inspired by Chooky to get out and get walking,so today the Supervisor and I went down to the beach
this brave man was going in for a swim
a ship was heading down the bay for the open sea
the Supervisor needed a cooling paddle...no rushed walk here today!!!!
the pelicans had found some men cleaning their catch and were enjoying some left overs!!
we went over the road and walked around the lagoon
we found a cache at the far end of the lagoon, then carried on
guess who had another swim when we got back to the bay, we walked 3.5km and the Supervisor sat down on the way back and wasn't going to walk any further, our previous dog used to do this too!! But a puppy came along and we were on our way again.
Hubby came back this afternoon from spending the weekend with friends
with this beautiful bunch of lily's , their perfume is gorgeous!!
Fish and chips are here now so I am off!!
Happy sewing.
A great walk.... Much better then 92 steps...... Lovely flowers lucky you.......
ReplyDeleteOh I did laugh at your post today Sue as I too am a little addicted to that damned TV series. I started out really liking some of the characters in it & now I too just want to yell at the TV screen !!!! They annoy me so much. You live in such a pretty area to go on those wonderful walks. Happy Monday to you Sue. xx
ReplyDeleteOh I forgot to say ...... beautiful lillies !!!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a really interesting and fun walk - I can't get used to you having pelicans around - they seem so exotic!! Hehe when our dog does that we call it Mat Dog as he lies right down and refuses to budge! Ihope you had a good sewing session with the circles/prayer beads...hopefully concentrating on sewing those down distracted you from too much shouting at the TV?!
ReplyDeleteMy goodness Those dots certainly look fiddly
ReplyDeleteGreat photos of your walk
What a lovely walk and great break from the dots. I can almost smell those lilies!
ReplyDeleteGood on you sue for Joining in with Chooky! Those lilies are just beautiful!
