I made a new friend
and found some interesting old sewing machines
they were asking $165 for one and higher for the others, do not know if they worked or not. We had a great time fossicking around and found several postcards to add to her collection, I found some tins that are perfect for sewing caddy's.
a few more little stars have been added to the collection this week, I have some different fabrics so am keen to make some more stars. Today we are off to the Mill Markets to do some more exploring.
Happy sewing.
How fun! It looks like an interesting place. Great fabrics for your stars. I bought some star templates, but haven't used them yet. I do love my hexagons, but it might be time to try some new shapes.
ReplyDeleteI am worrying about the company you keep???? Those cabinets are worth that price I think even if the machine doesn't work. I understand they are often pretty easy to get going again as they were made very solid. I am lucky to have recently been gifted a Singer - just need to go and collect as it is very heavy...
