Wandering me

Yesterday was the day to link up with Soma at Whims and Fancies for Wandering Camera
I had to go over to Drysdale this morning and while I was out decided to drive on to Ocean Grove and get a breath of ocean air.
the tide was out

which is really good for walking

and taking the dog for a walk...love a good zoom lens!

a few tidal pools remained

the waves rolled in

someone left their gumboots behind at the beach

someone was waiting for a feed.
Two Aussie Hero quilts went in the mail yesterday
this request was for books and reading

this one the flag, remembrance, poppies, army and names...covered it all!
Christmas has made an appearance in our house...in a small way

tree is up, it has been lovely seeing the hand made decorations I have been given over the last few years. Brings back lots of good memories.
I am off outside to enjoy a little sunshine and read a book while I can.

  13. So the beach you usually walk isn't ocean? This is lovely beach footage, too. I really like both of those Aussie Hero quilts. Isn't it fun that we share that one pleasure, though a world apart? And isn't it sad they are needed?
