Changed my mind

After seeing a finished beautiful Doing the Rounds quilt on Instagram with circles on the flowers I have changed my mind (again) and decided to do the same.

Some still look a little wonky but I now think it finishes them off better and I can still see my progress along the way. It is now definitely finished.I have sewn together the backing and ironed both pieces, it is ready to go and visit Leeanne at Quiltmekiwi for some magic.

Yesterday I put together a little baby quilt, it is going to hubbys cousin who has just become a great grandmother, she will forward it on to the babies mother.

Hubby woke me with a cuppa this morning and this was the beautiful sky!

  9. That is a wonderful finish! Do you have another project picked out, or are you going to rest on the strength of this one a while? That was a LOT of work! Love the dog.
