FNWF

Last night was Friday night with friends a virtual sew along hosted by the lovely Cheryll of Gone Stitchin'. You can se what other stitchers got up  to by visiting Cherylls blog. I had big plans of starting on another Aussie Hero quilt
I stuck the picture I found on google to the front window and proceded to trace onto the appplique paper, then I cut out and ironed onto the chosen fabrics and then ...

Decided to make some small clamshells and start a new project as you do when you should be doing something else!! I think this lot needs some more red clams.
I had a great evening sewing along, thank you to Cheryll for hosting.
Might go and play with the clamshells some more.
Happy stitching.

  1. I am easily sidetracked and find myself working on new things when I should be working on other things! I have never tried clam shells but have admired yours. I like the fabrics you are using with this project.

  7. LOL you are just like me starting another project when you still have others to do. My theory is that it prevents boredom. The clamshells are looking great so far. Have a lovely long weekend.

  8. Gosh - you did get mildly side tracked...the clam shells look lovely though.
I'd love to offer to help with reads - but there are not many reds of your kind in my stash . . . just not my colour I think!!!

  14. There’s nothing like a new project to get you off track. I’m sure you will get back to the other project when you need.
