has been happening, I have been doing many circuits of the back yard, the rainbow lorikeets just get settled in the fig tree and back I come!!
The thyme that was growing here gave up in the heat of the summer, but something else has self seeded and is growing happily.
Hubby weeding the vege garden, he later planted broad beans, probably a bit late but we shall see what happens.
we had a beautiful blue sky yesterday
so I got brave and went for a walk along the beach
Luckily I had my all terrain boots on!!
Down at the yacht club the little landing has gone and a new boat ramp is being put in, that will be interesting to watch the progress.
I have finished the I spy Quilt, it is ready to be given to the Bellarine Group once we are out and about again.
Ingrid sent me these bee lights, so I spent as happy time one evening putting the bees onto the lights,
Then into the sewing room where I climbed onto the desk and strung them up
Not easy to see but they are along here.
Yesterday I put the binding onto an oncology quilt, a lady at the Guild made this and Joan quilted it, I really like this design. This of course has to wait until it is safe to make a delivery to the hospital.
last night a few more hearts were sewn up.
Tonight Cheryll is hosting another FNWF so we can get together for another evening of virtual stitching.
You can sign up here.
We started with a beautiful sunny morning here but now the clouds have come over, just because I washed the sheets I am sure! Ah well what can you do??
Have a wonderful day and happy stitching.

It's good you were able to get out for another walk. Love your boots. Mine perished, as they hadn't been worn for a couple of years, so I have some new ones, but not as colourful as yours. Lots of stitching happening. You're getting quite a stock pile.l You'll have to show us a photo of your bee lights all lit up. I'm intrigued.

ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely beach to walk along. My hubby planted broad bean a couple of weeks ago and they've grown a lot already. Love these types of plants that grow quickly.
Enjoy the rest of your Easter weekend :)
Ah, it seems so wrong to see beach pictures without the Supervisor on the beach, doesn't it? Well, I will get used to it.
