Point Lonsdale

We went back to Point Lonsdale and to visit Ingrid and Nick on Saturday night and had a wonderful roast dinner. Ingrid, Jasper and I had a walk down to the beach before dinner and just as the light was fading. The tide was high and crashing on the sea wall

Jasper and Ingrid had fun running on the beach

It was a beautiful calm, slightly chilly evening.

Jasper enjoying the sea breeze

we watched a huge container ship coming in the entrance and a couple of surfers in the waves

This wave caught me on the back of the legs and feet, I was too busy waiting for the big splash onto the wall! I forgot the old reminder about surf, always keep an eye on what is happening behind you!

there it goes.

Tourist on the sea wall path.

The guy in front did head out surfing, it mush have been freezing!

One happy quilt recipient!

Jasper back at the house knew chicken was being served!

Old Time Kaleidoscope was on display

As was a canvas print we had made from a photo Shane took

Also this beautiful quilt was made by Jill, the colours are not showing well in the night time light.
We had a great evening, lots of chat and laughs and a few stitches sewn.
Happy stitching.

Ingrid sure does look happy with her quilt Sue. Gosh I imagine it takes a bit keeping Jaspers fur looking so clean & fluffy & nice.

Old Time Kaleidoscope is the most beautiful of quilts. One very happy recipient there. Such a fabulous way to spend a chilly winter's day; a walk along the beach and a roast dinner waiting to be enjoyed. LOVE roast dinners!

That beach and the surf look so inviting, for walks, not surfing. You had a lovely time

Kaleidoscope is amazing! I would have been a happy recipient as well. It was fun to read about and see pictures of your dog enjoying the beach.
