School Girl Sampler

is finished! Yay! I made myself stay on project and not be distracted by the squirrel that was chatting in my ear, I eventually drowned it out with an audio book

I just hope the last border sits flat when it is quilted as I had problems sewing it on.
Hubby gave me a shout last night to come and look at the moon
The photos do not do it justice, the colour was beautiful and it looked huge. Was so good to see it before it disappeared into the cloud.
Last night while the football was on, I went to the sewing room and pulled out the much neglected foundation paper pieced hearts and made another five. Slowly getting there with this project!
It is a cold a overcast day today, I think some rain might be coming. Perfect afternoon to be in the sewing room.
Happy stitching.

Oh Sue you must just be so chuffed with your Schoolgirl Sampler - I think it is STUNNING!!! I have just loved all those blocks as you have made them. The moon here was amazing too but I missed it as I went to bed quite early. xx

School Girl Sampler looks great, as do your hearts. A stunning moon. Too much cloud here to see at all.

Schoolgirl sampler is looking good. What better way to spend an overcast day but to sew your little heart out.

Wow, great sampler quilt, hope your border works out for you, and it is certainly great weather to be indoors sewing. Great moon photos too. Enjoy coming out of lockdown.

Sue - the sampler is so classic and so beautiful! I wish for rain, but I also accept I live in a dry area ... it still amazes me how things can grow here with so little precipitation. Lovely sun photos.

Oh my goodness Sue, that Schoolgirl Sampler looks like so much work. It is really beautiful. You must be so proud of completing it...all the squirrels be damned. It is amazing how your moon looks like my sun :-p with its orange coloring. One heart at a time, you are conquering them all. Hugs to you.
