Spring

has made itself felt here in out little part of the world, we have had some beautiful days, I have had some great walks along the beach

Calm and peaceful

Monday I got to take Hank for a walk, his parents both had to go to the office for the first time in months, so I was asked to call in and say hello. We went for a 5 km walk, I was exhausted, he got home and did mad zoomies around the back yard!!

Contemplating the water down at the pier, he came back to our house for most of the day and then went back home. Of course when his Mum got home he told her he had been home alone all day!!!! Big sook! Actually to be fair he is a rescue dog and has separation anxiety, so it was good we could have him with us for most of the day.

Pelicans in their usual places

This one appeared to be asleep.
Sunday afternoon I got out in the howling wind and sandwiched this Minions quilt, I just got it done when the rain came.

The postcard for the Guild challenge is finished, I think we are having a show and tell of photos in one of the newsletters as we are not able to meet in the usual numbers.

This week I also made three Santa Sacks which will go to Jan Mack

Tow Anthology blocks were made today, the one on the right sadly does not meet where it should but the over all measurements are correct so I am not mucking with it.

Only one jumper has been finished, Panda is still waiting and another sloth came home with me this week.

This afternoon I sewed another few stars, I think I have another 5 to go and then I need to work out how to sew them all together.
I had better be off I cam smell dinner is nearly ready and I need to make gravy.
Stay safe and keep well.
Happy stitching.

  10. We have been doing lots of the same things. Reading all the 7 Sisters books; cutting out fancy bone china cups and saucers to sew on and smelling wonderful freesias. ( cream Burtoni have the strongest perfume of the 4 different ones I have.)

  15. Gorgeous photos from your walk! I don't think there is a walk long enough to exhausted a puppy. So great that you can look after him when his mum is not around. The sleeping pelican is super cute. You stayed busy with beautiful sewing projects!! The postcard looks like a watercolour painting. Brave of you to baste a quilt outside with rain looming.
