Brisbane

Yesterday we had an afternoon walk at the beach

we walked thru the bush and swampy area to get to the beach.
In the morning I had been to Coolum, we were very lucky to see whales way out at sea, leaping out and splashing.

no photos sadly, they were too far away.
There were lots of beautiful bromeliads in the local gardens at Perigian Springs

I could have taken several home.

by the river in Brisbane
This bird was running around with an egg it had been eating

I had a lovely walk around there today, even found a cache.
Time to do a little stitching now.

  1. You had a wonderful walk. Your beaches are so huge, I would like to walk there, too. And wow to seeing whales splashing, what a feast for the eyes. Love the plants, too, and the last tree is fantastic. Have a great week, hugs, Valerie

  2. We have just farewelled visitors from Australia. They were going back to rain in Perth. Your winter weather looks very pleasant.
Your more tropical days look perfect
