One top is done, very simple but done
Oh dear blogger has turned the photo again!! Edited on the lap top now 👍
I even found some chook fabric for the backing.
I have started the Flinders St station panel, I rescued someone else's 9 patches from the bin and thought maybe I could put some on the corners, they are all different, but thought they might give a little ping.....one went on yesterday and I couldn't work out what was wrong and how I got the next border on.
It came to me in the middle of the night just as Denice said it would, even though it was referring to ideas 💡 🙃 😅
Today there will be unpicking after the house chores are done!! A little backwards needs to happen to go forwards!
Happy stitching .
Congrats on the finish. Simple is good!
ReplyDeleteDarn, I hate going backwards to go forward. I would find a good movie and do it while watching.
ReplyDeleteWay to go on having one done already!
You are making good progress - all the best ideas come at night! xx
ReplyDeleteMore lovely quilts. You're a busy bee as usual
ReplyDeleteWell done on the first panel and I'm liking the borders on the next but can't see whats wrong with your 9 patch.
ReplyDeleteI told you it works!!
ReplyDeleteFunny how we get those brilliant ideas in the middle of the night.
ReplyDeleteDon't you just love those middle of the night revelations. Good luck with the reverse sewing. Your other panel is looking good x
ReplyDeleteThat little bit of backwards stitching comes to us all from time to time.
ReplyDeleteThat trusty unpicker is calling!
ReplyDeleteHugz
That quilt top with the panel is really cute Sue. Hope you got the unpicking done. xx
ReplyDeleteWell done on Panel#1...sadly Jack the Ripper is a necessary evil at times!
ReplyDeleteLove that quilt. Enjoy your reverse stitching..hahaha.
ReplyDeleteAt least #4 is done and now you can focus on the next even if it is in the night! The unpicker is your best friend remember Ha ha !! See you soon
ReplyDeleteI’ve just been having a catch up on your blog, starting with the retreat. You all achieved so much and that pav looked delicious. It was so nice that you had the whole family together for the birthday lunch. Special times. You’re on fire with your Chookshed challenge projects. It certainly is a good way to get us working on projects.
