Busselton Jetty

We had a visit to Busselton Jetty , it rained on and off and was super windy, I walked out, 1.8km and got the train back with David.

Our along the Jetty

I was shown a seal just floating about under the Jetty, there is an underwater observatory under the end of the Jetty but it was closed because of the weather.
Whales pained on the Jetty, three kinds that can be seen from here, no luck for me today
And great seats

The sign at the end
It was super windy
Rain shower
Rainbow
There are many sculptures under the end of the Jetty to help the undersea life return, lots were killed when the Jetty was replaced. Apparently it is a great place to dive.
back for another look at the seal

And the train came to the Jetty end ,time to head back and get a hot drink. Oops the photos have switched!
Happy stitching.

  1. Lovely to see Busselton. I've, actually been there and stayed a week. 15 years ago. The sculptures weren't there then. Or I don't remember them

  3. What a fascinating place. We were there in 1997, so I can’t remember a great deal. I don’t think you could go all the way out even then.

  5. Interesting! Was the jetty built as a tourist attraction? Looks/sounds like a awesome place to explore.
