Tiki tour back

We have been heading back down south via some Adventure Labs

We went to the Dubbo Botanic Gardens for the Adventure Lab and started in the Japanese garden

Then off to the dry garden
Back thru the Japanese garden to the Sensory garden

The entrance to the Sensory Garden

We got a cuppa from Press as recommended by Kylie then went to the Yummy Yarn shop also recommended by Kylie, some spending happened there 🤭
Then off we went to Forbes to finish an Ad Lab there

The last place was at the war memorial.

The view was stunning.
We continued on our way, our trip was a little longer as the navigator (me) took a wrong turning and we had to navigate our way back to where we were supposed to be
A small traffic jam on the road
I am off to sort some dinner.
Happy stitching.

Tiki tour day 3

Today started with a visit to Sew Fab in Narrandera, such a beautiful shop and lovely helpful staff
From there we had a look at the painted water tower

Beautiful.
Off up the Newell Highway we went, we had a stop in Parkes and met Elvis
One outside and
One inside 😁
And one with my travel buddy!! 🥰

Our final stop was at Gilgandra where we had a wander and did an Adventure Lab

The Cooee walk started from here back when volunteers were dropping off for WW1, two men started a recruitment walk from Gilgandra to Sydney, on the way they gathered over 200 men.
Lovely old building in the later afternoon sun.
Off for a cuppa now.
Happy stitching.
