Last day chookshed party

Yesterday was the last day of Chooky's chookshed party  I have some finishes
KoGO blanket has the edging done and all those suprlus wooly bits sewn in and trimmed.

Binding on the AH quilt done, just the hand sewing on the label and writing of label, ah yes and I need to write a letter to go with it. 😊

And because I could I made a table runner, I bought this in a kit in Hawaii, precut fabric, no wadding, quick and easy I was told, but I could not understand the instructions so finished of with pointy ends

As I was showing to hubby (not particularly interested) I had a light bulb moment and realised  what I should have  done.  Luckily I have another kit so will try again.

The next pile of KOGO squares awaiting attention

The Supervisor catching up on his sleep,  hubby took him out for a walk this morning and even though we have towelled him off, he still smells like a wet sheep!!  Quiet day indoors for us today.
Happy stitching.

  3. Lots of great finishes. Love the pointy-ended runner. It's pouring and thundering here, too, I will probably look like a wet sheep before I get back from my walk! Hugs, Valerie

  4. Once you get the table runner straight in your head it works very well.
Looks like you had it if you turned it over.

  10. Looks like a busy productive weekend Sue. Tidying up ends in those type of blankets is never a quick job. It looks like you have a never ending supply of the squares too! Cute little runner, I'll be interested to see what the second one looks like when it's done!

  11. I smiled when I read your comment about showing something to your husband and having a lightbulb moment. I often find that something gets clearer to me when I have to explain it to someone else (even if they aren't really listening - LOL!) I felt like the Supervisor today - it was a lovely rain that gave me an excuse to be inside! Enjoy your weekend.
