Bits and pieces of this and that

I feel like I am constantly catching up here, maybe I need to get more organised or maybe I need to stop spending afternoons reading books!!

The Supervisor and I have had some wonderful ambles this week, the mornings are beautiful. Calm and sunny and a pleasure to be by the beach.

In the open grass area between the bush and the road there are hundreds of bulbs growing, the parks people mow them down, but they are determined to flower. The morning I took the photo they had not yet opened their flowers up to the sun.

I made a bag which has been delivered to the hospital for a young woman to carry her quilt in. It was supposed to be pink, it looked pinkish at night but not so in the day. I hope she likes it.

This quilt I made on retreat has been quilted and delivered to the hospital.

Down in the back yard this tree is covered in purpley pink double blossoms, you can't tell from the photo but the colour looks great against the wisteria.
Tomorrow night is FNWF
You can join up with others having a virtual sewing party at Cheryll's blog, stitch on Friday evening/night and then come back and see what the others have done some time on the weekend.
Happy stitching.
