Today is Friday

the end of the week, Friday Night with Friends and pizza night!

You can sign up over at Cherylls blog as Cheryll is our hostess, and have an enjoyable virtual sewing evening.
I made another Anthology block, this one is paper pieced so came out the right size!!

In my enthusiasm yesterday I sewed the top row on to this quilt and forgot the sashing, took me a while to work out what was different when I was ironing it! Guess who was unsewing last night!

Today I have created a mess, I had to cut some batting for a quilt to go to Joan to quilt, so decided to cut some for the hospital quilts waiting here

I have covered all the lounge furniture. I also have been digging into my stash to find fabric for backings, I now have three heaps of fabric waiting to be sewn together. That is a job for this afternoon.

During the week I put the binding and new label for the Guild onto this quilt. I think this one was made my Wendy, quilted by Joan and I have done the binding and labelling .

this quilt was made by Lisa, quilted by Joan and bound by me, still needs a label. It is a very pretty quilt.
I have heaps to do, sew backings, fix up my woops from yesterday and maybe even get to some quilting.
I am off to get going.
Happy stitching.

  4. Oh my! Mess is good as it means you are being very productive. You have so many on the go. At least you can keep snug indoors during this cold weather. I am intrigued by the pattern on one of those quilts. Looks like hearts .
