Heading Home

The time has come to head back home, the air temp is a little different today, a cool change went through over night, we had some thunder ⛈ hopefully no lightening as the bush around here is so dry.
a different road view today
we stopped in Avoca
some great old buildings here
How cute is this one and so nicely painted and cared for.
Back home, all unpacked and away, decided it was time to get back to the hearts, we will need the dining table at some stage 😁
so some sashings to sew on today
we just had a shower of heavy rain and gusty wind, I am happy we are home!
Off to sew
Happy stitching.

  1. It's definitely a worrying time with all the dry grass around. Maybe a shower is good.
Lots of great old buildings as you travel home...
Nice to be back and into your sewing...

  6. I’m glad you had a wonderful time away even though the weather was a bit different. It would have been worse this week with the heat. Happy you are home safely. Have a very safe and happy festive season.

  13. It looks like you had a lovely time away - and that you were lucky with the weather too. So nice to see the old buildings - they look like moments frozen in time, with few modern 'trappings' around them (just the odd umbrella!). Nice to see your hearts pile growing.
