has been a slow week, lots of resting, a little gardening, while trying to avoid the mossies, and a little sewing.
This week another Anthology block was done
The piano keys border was put onto the string quilt, and has been moved to the to be quilted pile.
I went to see Adam and Beth yesterday and had to take a photo to Tira, she is so cute
and Hank with his chewey in his mouth.
a little sleepy bear.
this poppy has survived the heavy winds and rain in the garden, I think because it has grown up into the tree and is supported
signs of more flowers to come
we had a rain shower last night followed by a double rainbow, the colours were beautiful
I found some Christmas fabric so made two mug rugs.
That is all from me this week
Happy stitching.
Tira really does look like a big cuddly bear Sue... I'd want to cuddle her I think. Your mug rugs are cute ... I have some fabric similar to that I think. Take care & take it easy Sue xx
ReplyDeleteGood hear you are resting lots, and your garden is lovely. HOpe the healing continues.
ReplyDeleteCute pet pictures and lovely stitching projects. The mug rugs are a great idea. I hope you are feeling strong.
ReplyDeleteGood to hear you are taking it easy although you still seem to have accomplished a lot! I do love those pink mop head poppies - we had them in France and I brought some seeds with me so am hopeful for next year. xx
ReplyDeleteWonderful sewing, and I love those doggies! Hugs Valerie
ReplyDeleteLovely mug rugs and adorable dogs. The quilt top looks great, feels good to finish something, doesn't it!
ReplyDeleteYou have been so dedicated to Anthology this year. You must be happy with how it is coming along.
ReplyDeleteGreat rainbow photo. I love seeing the views and quilts on your deck.
I’m glad to hear you are taking it easy. The dogs have such a hard life.
ReplyDeleteLove the string quilt top. Beautiful poppy too.
ReplyDeleteNice to see you about again. Big hugs to Tira and Hank.
ReplyDeleteGood to see you are getting some things done there and still taking it fairly quiet... hope it's all going well and you are not too frustrated with not being able to do as much..
ReplyDeleteHugz
Good to read you are doing lots of resting and a little sewing too.
ReplyDeleteSue - I often feel like Tira - needing a nap! And when I wake up, my face looks just about as wrinkly! Love the double rainbow shot!
ReplyDeleteGood to see you back. You certainly managed to get a few things done. Cute doggies. When is your grandchild due? Soooo exciting.
ReplyDeleteSue - those mug rugs are precious. And I love your new header - a life-size panda on that quilt - who wouldn't want to be hugged by that bear? Thanks for visiting my blog!
ReplyDeleteTake a tip from those lovely dogs and REST x LOVE the panda at the top of the blog x
