This and that

I have continued on with the Guild Mystery Quilt, some sewing and unsewing when I realised I hadn't read the pattern properly!
This is the unsewing section , done in  front of the tv over two evenings
And the required 16 blocks
Today I have finished the light value blocks...now to sew the left over dark and light triangles together, I have sewn 50 and have 78 to go 😁.
I have also been sewing up left over bits from other quilts. This top will go to the US to a lady who donates quilts to children who find themselves in a police car or ambulance or hospital. I need to add a bit more to get it to the right length.
As I have heaps to do at present I have signed up for another Aussie Hero quilt - the recipient has asked for black and red plus Lotd of the Rings, I am waiting on a panel to come in the mail and then will get to it.
Ok, off to do a little more
Happy stitching.

  2. Lovely new header.
We all do lots of unsewing when not reading a pattern properly.
A great cause to make a quilt for and why not make a new Aussie Hero one too,
    You're a gem!

  6. I can't tell you how many times I've misread a pattern. =) It looks like you have it all sorted now. As ever you are busy, busy, busy, Sue.

  7. Awe, I can't imagine a child alone in a police car, ambulance, or hospital. What comfort this will bring them!
Two days of unsewing - not cool. Good you could relax watching tv while you did it.
