Catching up again 😃

I am happy to have had a few finishes
A cat quilt finished for Shane and Rillas cats -  front
Back...they can swap around as they like
A cushion cover made from left over backing from a baby quilt

A bag with a little NZ purse went to Jenny in NZ for a cancer fund-raising lunch, it looked great when Jenny wrapped it up

I had a walk around the lake at Drysdale on Monday
It was a bit cold and windy with spotty rain
This gum tree was heaving with rainbow lorrikeets busy feeding on the blossom
I saw these mosaic pictures on a fence.

I have read a few books lately, I really enjoyed these.
One small grandson after a trip with his Mum and Dad.
One sunny afternoon walk past the boat ramp. Pelicans waiting for the fishing people to come back in 😄
David and I went to the light show in the Geelong Botanic Gardens,  it was amazing
Ok my phone has stopped cooperating with loading photos so I will finish up here and continue later.  Now I am on the lap top so lets see how we go here!

I took many more photos and some videos - I have no idea how to load them here, so you are all spared that!! Although the talking tree was really good.
And finally the baby quilt is finished now and ready to go to it's new home
Such a cute image

And Eunice's Flower Garden is also finished.

Happy stitching.

  1. I love it all. You have been busy. I love the lorikeet but especially love the colours in the gum tree it is hiding in.

  2. You have had a busy week with a goodly pile of finishes. We had a similar light show here and it was well done - clever what is done with the lights.

  4. Busy times Sue. Love the tote bag you made for Jenny to take back. It looked great ... & also love that cat quilt. Madam Pip uses the quilt you sent me once - the one with the ginger cat on it - just perfect. The light show looked amazing Sue. And I especially love those mosaic panels. xx
