A big hole has been left in our hearts.
I spent three days at Eve's house sorting her clothes, that job is all done now.
Back home David has gone to Adelaide for the weekend to enjoy some warming . Friday evening Marg and Tracee came here and we had a great catch up, lots of chatting, laughing, sewing and some alcohol may have been had 🙄.
Marg busy sewing squares together
The ladies in the kitchen, some ironing and some refreshment!
Tracee was working on the quilt front while Marg was working on the back. We were making an African themed quilt with fabric from Donna's stash . The quilt will go to her sister, Rebecca, in Germany.
As everything was under control I made a table runner with some of Donnas fabric. I can't get blogger to turn the photos around the right way, so I am sorry they are sideways!
Here is the finished quilt top.
This morning after going for a walk to the pier and back the girls helped me cut the remaining jelly roll into six and a half inch pieces, plus some orange that was left over!
We made up the blocks before lunch, then the girls had to leave to go home 😪
After having a few days of 30 plus degrees it is cooler and raining on and off, slippers are back out of the wardrobe .
Right I am off to see some blocks together before relaxing on the couch!
Happy stitching.
