Today I have been gathering boxes of kitchen things from downstairs and bringing them up, and then deciding where they go in the new kitchen..I have moved the cups three times...but can't move them again as the other places they were are now full!! I also had line dancing class this morning so feel like I have done loads of exercise!! We are still waiting on the tiler...new eta is 8am Thursday..we shall see....we need the tiles done in the kitchen and bathroom, then the flooring can go down...not easy for the builder coordinating the different tradies, especially when they ring him at 6am on the day they are due to work saying they can't come!! Anyway lots should be happening this Thursday and Friday.
I decided I needed to sit and sew for a while this afternoon...so have been playing with the photos for the Aussie hero quilt
joined these guys together...
..then these, added a bit, cut off a bit....
then these...
oops...calculations out a bit here...more trimming required....
.....ta dah!!!! All together.....
...and then some borders...next thing to do is add some white letters....maybe tomorrow....
the I joined the chevrons together...first two rows beautiful.....second two rows I had one back to front.....bugger!!!! Off to do some unsewing now!!! Or maybe I put the photos in between and pretend that is the pattern???? Lol!!
Happy sewing.
when you do find "their" place chances are you will forget! I changed some drawers around but STILL go to the old place!! lol x Think of the trim figure you will have xx
