We had friends come and stay for the weekend,
How is this birthday cake?
Happy hour Friday evening...
Hubby improvising with swizzle sticks, although using a chop stick made drinking a bit awkward!
Saturday we went to the Mill Markets in Newcombe and had a very successful shopping expedition
I got to meet Mr Ice.
Late in the afternoon we called in at Van Loons for a chai and cheescake
and had a play in the Christmas decos!
Saturdays swizzle stick was a soup spoon!!
Serious discussion over the contents of the happy hour drink!
The moon was amazing Saturday night, I was very happy to get one slightly fuzzy photo!
Monday was sewing at Port
this pretty quilt was having its binding sewn on
a beautiful quilt Sue has made for others
Sue has also finished this beautiful quilt.
Lorraine was working on some cute pug appliques
This quilt is stunning.
There was other show and tell but I was on the wrong angle to get a photo.
I have been sewing on hanging sleeves and labels and the Bellarine Quilters are having their biannual show very soon, set up is on Thursday and Friday morning, opening Friday evening.
I have done a little sewing
the last of the circles for Doing the Rounds are ready to be gathered in and one little star was finished off last night.
I had better get off and do some other things.
Happy stitching.
Looks like you have a had a swell time with your friend. You sure have many quilt shows over there.

Chai and cheesecake - yum!!! Did Nick just become an Australian citizen? At first glance I thought it was a real passport! You look happy - must be some drink :-)
ReplyDeleteHow interesting that the show is up for the month and open only weekends. What a wonderful thing that you can go back more than once. The cake looks yummy and that icing so smooth. Thanks, as always, for sharing the quilts the ladies are doing. I always love to see those!
