The little animals on this panel are great
I got a little further with the Old Time Kaleidoscope block
I finished this book last night and quite enjoyed it, a story of women in the Land Army in the UK, one girl in particular who falls for a German POW.
Earlier in the week I read this one, I enjoyed this more as I followed several women from different walks of life and their experiences in the Land Army.
I am off now to hang up the washing and then see what else needs to be done.
Have a wonderful weekend.
You are good - if I had a soak in the bath and pizza in the tummy no sewing would have happened at my place. Very cute quilt and pretty kaleidoscope block.
ReplyDeleteA soak in the bath is always sooooooooooooo good. The quilt looks gorgeous. They showed a film on TV recently about the land army girls, it was good. Have a great day, hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteSuch a relaxing evening , a lovely soak, nice pizza topped up with a finish and pretty block...
ReplyDeleteCute quilt, a soak in the bath sounds like it would hit the right spot for relaxing.

Such a sweet baby quilt. I love your kaleidoscope block.....a long soak and pizza sounds really good to me. Good reads by the sounds of it....nothing better xx
ReplyDeleteA soak and pizza sounds wonderful to me! I used to have a fabulous bubble tub, deep and lots of air vents for bubbles. I miss that tub even after 15 years! =) The Noah looks great. Thanks for the book recs. I enjoy reading historical fiction and non-fiction and those two will go on my list.
ReplyDeleteThats a sweet little quilt and your kaleidoscope block looks great. Good to relax with a book. xx
ReplyDeletewhat a lovely panel. Love the kaleidoscope block too.
ReplyDeleteHello, love your photos of out and about. What a sweet finish!
ReplyDeleteI also love your kaleidoscope block. Happy Stitching!
Your quilt is lovely, Sue. I made Mitchell a Noah's Ark quilt when he was a baby but made it for a single bed. He got quite a few years out of that one. xx
ReplyDeleteLooks like I am adding another book to my list! The baby quilt is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty.
ReplyDeleteWell done on the quilt finish, and looks like a great read with those books. I do have a few waiting in the wings for "one day", but trying to finish some other jobs before I start, as once I start a book, I have to keep going to finish it.
ReplyDeleteThat baby quilt is adorable.
ReplyDeleteGood for you - I don't think I could muster ANY productivity after a pizza!
