FNWF

Well after a slow start, a soak in the bath with a book and pizza later can do that to you, I got my act together and finished sewing in the threads on the baby quilt
The little animals on this panel are great

I got a little further with the Old Time Kaleidoscope block

I finished this book last night and quite enjoyed it, a story of women in the Land Army in the UK, one girl in particular who falls for a German POW.

Earlier in the week I read this one, I enjoyed this more as I followed several women from different walks of life and their experiences in the Land Army.
I am off now to hang up the washing and then see what else needs to be done.
Have a wonderful weekend.

  1. You are good - if I had a soak in the bath and pizza in the tummy no sewing would have happened at my place. Very cute quilt and pretty kaleidoscope block.

  10. A soak and pizza sounds wonderful to me! I used to have a fabulous bubble tub, deep and lots of air vents for bubbles. I miss that tub even after 15 years! =) The Noah looks great. Thanks for the book recs. I enjoy reading historical fiction and non-fiction and those two will go on my list.

  14. Your quilt is lovely, Sue. I made Mitchell a Noah's Ark quilt when he was a baby but made it for a single bed. He got quite a few years out of that one. xx

  16. Well done on the quilt finish, and looks like a great read with those books. I do have a few waiting in the wings for "one day", but trying to finish some other jobs before I start, as once I start a book, I have to keep going to finish it.
