..well mostly...we went to the hospital with Tania today and the news was better than expected, Tania will be monitored with a scan and blood test every three months, no further treatment at the moment....so that is good.
Then we made our way to
Marinas and met up with Marina, Anne, Annie and Marina's Mum Claire. We did some sewing and then went to the golf club for lunch....
spaghetti bol for Annie......fish and chips for Marg....
chicken schnitzel for Tania...
Marina and Robyn.......woops missed their lunch!! Lol!!
Marg and myself.....
Ladies who lunch!!!! We had a lovely time, great meal, lots of chat and then a little sewing...how good is a day like that???
Earlier at Marina's I went up the hallway to find the source of much giggling....ah ha...a gathering in Marina's sewing room......
I now have a severe case of pin cushion envy.....look at this beautiful collection!!!! Wow!!! Hasn't Marina made a beautiful display??
I didn't get photos of what everyone was working on but here
we have Tanias wonderful hexies, she only has four and a half to go and she has finished the blocks for this quilt top.....this is the exciting time when the finish is in sight......
and Marg was working on her Irene Blanck quilt Message in a bottle.....it is going to be amazing. I was working on hexies, Marina and Anne were doing a stitchery and Robyn some appliqué, Claire was doing a beautiful cross stitch.
Now we have travelled back to Gisborne, full and happy....I always come away from these get togethers feeling so happy.....thank you ladies for another wonderful fun get together.
Happy sewing.
