A large grouop of cockatoos were feeding on the side of the road one morning, eating the flower heads of the dandelions
This one was watching us from above. They are such beautiful birds.
The sunflower was in glorious bloom, there was even a bee visiting.
Not sure what this was but it was a beautiful flower.
Basil the Bad in a rare calm moment (ie just after a LONG walk)
Today I have had a lovely day stitching and chatting and lunching with some of the lovely girls from the Bellarine Quilters. Jill and Mary have signed up to do a BOM with Shiralee Stitches
Jill has finished block 1
and now is on to block 2. They both look amazing.
These flowers were in Sandies back yard, still blooming despite the heat, they are hollyhocks, stunning huh!!
More of the same.
The Supervisor gave my bags a thorough check when I got home, just to make sure I had not been with another dog!!
Finally here are the finished stars
and a stack of finished stars, might be time to sew a few together and see what they look like.
I sewed together a few of the square shapes with the soft iron on papers inside, not sure that I like them yet, but will continue on and see how we go.
I am off to sort some dinner.
Have a wonderful week.
