Once I got to the machine I managed to make a few Schoolgirl Sampler blocks early in the evening
These are the blocks I made, there are still more to go. 😉
Last night I stitched the last 2 black hexies into place, now I need to make more for the next part, I am still behind but am slowly progressing.
I forgot to share this last post, last weekend when I should have been packing I decided to make a simple quilt top from some fabric Ingrid gave me, I have kept the pattern it was supposed to be to make one day, maybe!
If you visit Cheryll's blog you can see what the other Friday Nighter's got up to.
I am off to do some more on the Schoolgirl Sampler.
Happy stitching.

Your schoolgirl sampler blocks are looking good :-) And your hexies project is gorgeous! Nice to have a quick easy sew quilt to make from time to time - A good excuse to buy more fabric so you can make the quilt that fabric was originally intended for...!
ReplyDeleteWow, if you wanted to stop on the hexagons right where you are now, it would still be absolutely a gorgeous piece!
ReplyDeleteYour blocks look great and I really love how the hexies project is shaping up. Can't wait to see what's next!
