We have been at Harmers Haven for the weekend visiting family, they have had a large amount of rain here do plans I had for geocaching have been put on hold as in some places there is too much water and muddy ground. I should have brought my gumboots!
On the way here we stopped briefly at Kilcunda
the Ocean was rolling in and it was pretty windy.
we found evidence if wombats while looking for caches
the wind farm was operating in the distance
I had a look at Williamson's beach, fishing was happening, this young boy had just caught a fish, he was so excited
from here I went to Wreck Beach, a ship went onto the rocks here back in the 1800's, luckily everyone survived
I looked in the sandhills fir a cache here for ages but could not find it! 🙄!
one cache I did manage to find!
I had a chat to the animals here for a while, had my dog fix
Basil thought he was in trouble because I asked him to sit and stay! I got to meet the cat
She usually lives in the big shed, she has to keep rodent population down!
A little more stitching happened late afternoon and evening.
I am off to start the day, we are heading home today but are stopping at Kilcunda to try and find a few caches on the rail trail and to look at the trestle bridge.
Happy trails.
