for my blogging each week, 10 days have somehow disappeared since I last did a post.
Some sewing has been happening
the cropped diamonds have been slowly growing, I decided to sew the two sections i had stitched together, one is longer than the other but I will fix that as I go
another new section has been started. This is my evening hand stitching project.
The Aussie hero quilt is finished and in the mail
the next AH quilt is sandwiched and waiting quilting.
This quilt was made by Maria from the Bellarine Quilters, it has now been delivered to SJOG for the Oncology ward. Great use of shirtings. Maria is a wizz at scrappy quilts.
I called in yesterday to see Beth and Finn, he was happily sleeping |
We have put in a new vege garden and planted it up, fingers crossed it grows! So far the possums have left it alone.
I went for a bike ride yesterday, it was very windy, we haven't had a howling north wind for a while, we are in for a few hot days.
Surf at St Leonards!! ๐
Finn, not sure what was happening here, just making faces I think.
Beth and Finn
Yep that woman with the camera is still here!! ๐
This morning the tide was out so not as many big waves
still nice to be out and about
Heading off home.
We are off to Melbourne this afternoon and are staying over night as I have a follow up appointment at the Royal Melbourne at 10.30 tomorrow morning. All is good, just checking.
Happy stitching.
