both sides have trees growing in the way of photos but if a viewing platform goes in, hopefully the view will be clear again.
We then had a four and a half hour drive through the country side to Picola to the next Silo. We drove through lots of different country side on the way
We stopped for lunch at Lake Mulwala, which we found by chance, there were hundreds of corellas there all over the place. One resident did come out and make a noise to scare them away but they returned quite quickly.
On to Picola
Still trying the selfie 🤳 🤪
The sign near the Silo said there was a fishing hook hidden in the Silo painting, we found it after a short search. It was hanging from the central gum tree on the left hand side.
We noticed a sign that said we could buy a mug or stubbie holder at the pub, so we went to investigate and of course bought a coffee mug each. They are a fundraiser to raise money to paint the other side of the Silo. One of the locals at the bar (there two) said I could support the locals by buying them a beer, so I did! We had a laugh and then drove on ( only one u turn required) to Nathalia where we are staying tonight.
More adventures tomorrow.
Hello, I remember it immediately isn’t it in Yarrawonga? If been there a view years ago. We where there with some friends and we have made a boottrip at that lake it looks a bit spooky I thought. But that big silo we missed that they are looking beautiful. Nice to see some things at your blog, when I got there for my holiday and we visit some friends in Shepparton and we now people they lives in Geelong.
