Catching up yet again

Time gets away on me, it does not help that I have been doing lots of reading! πŸ˜€

the flower and horse quilt and the ferret, horse, pig and dogs quilt have gone to their new home, photos to come.

the pelicans are still around down near the boat launching ramp

Shane came for an afternoon and we walked the dogs

another day recently I came across Adam and Beth when I was walking Hank, so we walked together
another Anthology block has been made
I saw and enjoyed this movie

and then  had lunch looking over the bay, the clouds were amazing

the last two days I hve been making blocks for the bookcase quilt which has been sadly neglected

a vase and flower

a messy photo but the quilt so far, I was busy sewing away last night and realised I had made a mistake and forgot to put in the brown for the shelf, so some unsewing needs to be done today.
The vest for Finn is coming along slowly, love this wool Raewyn gave me, just the arm bands to go and then sewing up.

This mess is another heap of knitted squares waiting to be made into a KOGO blanket - if I keep it in sight i.e. on the chair next to me, maybe it will get done!!

the two quilts promised earlier, it had taken me ages to find them on the phone.
That is enough for me for now
Happy stitching.

  1. Lot's happening at your place. That sky looks very cool and a little bit threatening. Hope you didn't get too much rain. Fabulous quilts and wooly projects.

  2. Again, there are so many pretties in the works at your place, Sue. Loving your bookcase quilt. The vase and red flower is gorgeous. How lovely the beach looks. I've always loved pelicans.

  7. You sure have been keeping busy Sue - I don't know about reading but you sure have churned out alot of craft work. Love the vest for Finn. Those cloud photos look amazing Sue - would make wonderful cards. I put things beside my chair in the hope that I'll get to them but I usually just move them further away after a couple of days πŸ˜‰ xx

  15. (Gosh it doesn't take me long to get behind with my reading!) I love those sky photos - was there some rain brewing and did you stay dry?! Also great to see the finished 'commisioned quilts' you made while at SS - I love how they turned out and hope they are loved and appreciated! Cute little vase block - is that a clever bit of applique? Fabulous to see the vest progress :-)
