Gisborne days 3 and 4

Back home again now, binding the finished quilts and catching up with the family
Beth and Finn
Finn is nearly 4 months old now
I have had a few walks along the beach and today a bike ride
it has been beautiful weather today
back at the retreat Sue sewed the top of her quilt together and out on the first border
Carleens blocks
Maxine's quilt top, sadly we found a woops so it has gone home for some unsewing
Maria made great progress on this quilt top, the blocks look great on point
Judy was using up left over fabric in half square triangles and some of Kate's fabric for this quilt top
Maxines new quilt start

I put together some equilateral triangles blocks,  the blocks are a challenge at the Bellarine quilters
On the way home Carleen and I stopped to do an Adventure Lab in Bacchus Marsh
Love these trees
Beautiful autumn colours
I am off to do another binding now
Happy stitching.

  2. oh gorgeous Finn - how bonny he looks. It sounds like you enjoyed your retreat Sue, I hope everyone is pleased with their results - they all looked great. Putting the green blocks on point dramatically changed their look! Happy binding :-)
