Baradine - Show and tell

There was a lots of beautiful show and tell at Baradine,

Janice has done a wonderful blog post on show and tell, you can see it all by clicking on her name.

I put together and bordered this quilt, I was given the blocks by a lady at the Guild who makes many quilts for the Royal Children's Hospital, she will not quilt it and return it for someone in the Guild to bind.
I made these two quilt tops, based on the 10 Fat quarter pattern - I had two fat quarter packs with 10 in each so added two fat quarters from my stash to get twelve blocks to make an even quilt. This pattern is a great way to use fat quarters and not have any waste.
The little jeans legs bags are another step closer to a finish with the top bindings all done
Sorry this is sideways - I was given this  panel and another it goes with - I layered the panel, wadding and black felt and free motioned around the figures. I will cut them out with pinking shears and glue a hanger on the back. Then I need to quilt the backing they go on.
This was my swap gift, a candle and thread. The candle now lives in the ensuite and smells wonderful.
The swap gift I made when to Maureen, she loves elephants! It was a kit I bought in when I was at a quilt show in January. I also included some locally made chocolates and ginger bread sea horses.
I think that wraps up Baradine for this year.
Happy stitching.
