Tiki tour day 4

This morning we left Bendigo about 7.30 and headed for Lake Cargelligo.
Our first stop ,unintended but we saw a Silo, was at Moama
Beautiful birds and Wattle blossom.
We then wandered on to Mathoura
Painted  by a Japanese artist.
From here we went to Hay and while looking for the Information building found another water tower
These features local.people who had gone off to WW2, it was very emotional reading their stories. We found a park round the corner for lunch
Oops will have to fix that one at home

150th Centenary quilt at the Info Centre in Deniliquin.
Emu's on the way out of Deniliquin.
Traffic jam on the highway
Made for slow travelling for a while - these animals were part of a huge herd on both sides of the road.
We finally came to Lake Cargelligo
We drove around to do part of an Adventure Lab but night fell and it was a bit tricky.
Sunset thru a farm shed.
Time for a cuppa.
Happy stitching.
