Then the selfie queens got busy
Oh dear!! It was a windy time of day.
From here we went to Sebastapol to visit Gail's Patchwork Emporium - what a shop, do much to see!
Oops sideways view of Raewyn browsing .
From here we went to the Wildlife Park and saw the Tassie Devils being fed, they are fierce little critters, busy fighting each other for food, even though there was enough for both.
There were many koalas to see
I had hoped Rareyn could feed the kangaroos but they were not interested sadly, must have been well fed today
We also saw a quoll being fed
He moved fast so was not easy to catch .
Once we git to our accommodation we settled in, had a cuppa and then had a walk along part of Lake Wendoree
We went to find answers for a cache
Memorial for prisoners of war, sad to see.
We have now had dinner and it is relax time.
No stitching happened today.
Happy stitching.
Looks like a great start to a fun trip!
ReplyDeleteIt all sounds like fun. I must do a bit of searching for geocaching. I've known lots of people who do it and it sounds lots of fun. Maybe even the grandkids would enjoy doing it with me.
ReplyDeleteA great first day. We haven’t been to any of those places. My Mum and Dad were at the opening of that memorial as Dad was a POW.
ReplyDeleteA great first day ... enjoy yourselves xx
ReplyDeleteHave fun and safe travels.
ReplyDeleteYou two are sure to have a blast. That emporium looks great.
ReplyDeleteYou have crammed in a lot already. Good to see that patchwork shop is still open. I have been there 2 or 3 times over the years and it was always full of lovely fabrics and stitchy fun.
ReplyDeleteGoodness, what a busy day! Not surprised there was no time to stitch. Lots of fun though. xx
ReplyDeleteYou two are having a great time.
ReplyDeleteYay! You two are at it again headed to Baradine, I presume. I will enjoy reading your posts!
ReplyDeleteCute quilt shop photos - animals too!
