Views from the bus were like this
Our first stop was for morning tea at one of the pubs
It was a bit like Mad Max country
Nothing is wasted out here and the doors from. Cars are used at sign posts
Again I will fix this at home, this is the bra tree - fixed
Fossicking in the dirt heaps, we found tiny bits of opal
Our second stop was for lunch at the Hilton
Lunchtime
Chooky and Peta met us at lunchtime
Then we headed off again
Next stop the War Memorial, they get 200 here for the ANZAC service, 2 up is then played here and at the local pubs.
Our last stop was Club in the Scrub
Our last stop was Stanley the Emu, who was commissioned for another town in WA, but was bigger than expected and too hard to transport so remained in the Ridge.
He is made from VW car pieces.
All on all a great day out, we learned south and had a lot of fun.
Off to prepare for another day's driving to Melbourne.
Happy stitching.
You girls are having a great time.
