Yesterday

I had a great day out at Rottnest Island, the ferry trip out was a bit rough, there was a swell happening. On the ferry was a large group of Jspanese students,  they started out running around and squealing with each roll of the boat. Then things went quiet  the boat staff were circulating with sick bags, the poor students were not good sailors! Luckily the trip was 45 mins and most of us managed to arrive ok.

I did an Adventure Lab, which took me on a long walk around the top eastern section of the island

In the grass to the right of the brown post is a lizard, it was being pecked at by a crow, so I moved rhe crow on!

Back in the main food and shopping area.

I had a sushi roll for lunch and when I turned to look at a Quokka a seagull swooped in and took one cut up piece. It nearly choked its self getting it down whole! 

There were many quokkas around, there are also many signs saying nit to touch or feed the animals. Lots of people 🙄 did anway. One man picked up a baby quokka by its tail! Some people are plain cruel. Luckily some workers on the island saw this man and told him off,  saying if the baby smells of people the mother will not have anything to do with it.

I bought seasickness tablets first the ferry ride home, luckily the trip was not as rough.

It was a great day, i got back to the hotel at 6.30pm, tired but happy after a good day.

Today I have to go and pick up the  hire car and we are heading for Mandurah.
