Ingrid outside the red door
and inside exploring patterns and fabric.
Next we went on the Sebastopol and to Gail's Patchwork Emporium
The vine is a beautiful red hanging from the verandah.
there are so many beautiful fabrics in this shop
so much to look at
and explore
Ingrid and I made a few purchases!
this pattern and fabric had to come home with me
and fabric for a horse quilt for my sister in law, poppies for an Aussie Hero quilt from Ingrid
Love this Ghastlies fabric
On the way home we stopped in Bannockburn for petrol and a comfort stop.
these metal shapes were on the walls of the public toilets
A Rooster for the men
Cockatoos decorated the water tank outside
chookies along the back wall
and a hen for the ladies!
Pretty special I thought!
Hubby is looking for lunch so I had better make a move.
Happy stitching.

ReplyDeleteSo many gorgeous fabrics! Looks like a great shopping trip. I haven't seen any shops like that in Japan. That's probably a good thing for my wallet!
ReplyDeleteI have seen that Gails patchwork Emporium on other blogs before Sue & it always looks such a gorgeous shop to visit with lovely displays. I am sure some goodies would've had to come home with me too!!!
ReplyDeleteA very successful road trip I'd say...
