We went to Mornington to see the Stitch Fest quilt show. The show was wonderful, the people we met lovely, there were lots of wonderful shops....mmmm. But I will show you a few of the quilts in show
waiting to board the ferry, there was a strong northerly wind blowing and so the crossing was not very calm! We were both a little green when we got off at the other end!!

This info belongs to the quilt below, as I have written letters all my life and miss receiving letter my parents used to write to me. Love getting mail in the box sometimes though.
There were several quilts on display featuring one of the groups members, this quilt was beautiful and had so much work in it! Detail below.

So many beautiful quilts, it was overwhelming.
We did a little shopping, had a cuppa and cake and then headed home.
A huge container ship we passed on the way.
A change in the weather is coming from the west! Fortunately we got home ok, the water was calmer and the rain didn't come until I was well home.
All in all a grand day out.
