FNWF results

Friday Night with Friends has come and gone, my night didn't go quite as planned but I managed some sewing and got the binding onto the Circle quilt.
It has been checked over by the Supervisor

I machine sewed front and back.

I also made a pincushion - Ingrid gave me the cute chooky to put over a boiled egg, but as I don't eat boiled eggs and it seemed a shame to put it in the pantry, I decided to make a pincushion! Win win! Makes me smile every time I look at it!
I had better go and check the chook that is roasting.
Have a wonderful weekend.
PS you can see what the other FNWF'ers got up to by visiting Cheryll our lovely host. Many thanks for a great sewing evening Cheryll.

  2. The quilt looks great. I wish I could do machine binding, but mine always turns out a mess, so I stick to doing it by hand. You pincushion made me laugh. Too funny.

  6. I always machine my bindings on. Sometimes I bring the binding to the front and others to the back. A great finish and I love the pincushion.

  12. Your supervisor is intense. I am sure he/she will approve only the very best of quilts. Since the circles look fabulous (bright and colorful), I am sure that the supervisor was impressed. That is how I like to bind all my quilts.

  13. Cute quilt finish. I laughed at your pin cushion, so funny! It's makes me think of one Mr Bean Christmas episode where Mr Bean ended up with a turkey stuck on his head!!
