It is a new month and that means another challenge in the Chookshed Stitchers Challenge. This month is #4 and that for me means working on panel quilt.
I have had this panel of Flinders Street train station for a very long time, I keep getting it out and putting it away, I even bought the fabric that is with it, I have no idea of what I was going to do now!! Ah well, I guess I play around and see what happens, it will be plain but hopefully it will be done!
While putting fabric away I found this
cute little panel, maybe I can get this done too - once it has has a really good iron!!
I have to go and do some cleaning as #2 son and partner and cat are coming for the weekend,
oh by the way today is FNWF
I have signed up but as we have family here sewing might not happen. maybe a little hand sewing, we shall see.
Happy stitching.
Both panels will make great boys quilts. Just “keep them simple “ with borders.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your family weekend.

ReplyDeleteCute little kids panel ... can't wait to see what you create :)
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing what you do with those panels.
ReplyDeleteTwo very interesting panels.
ReplyDeleteThe street panel will be beautiful with those colors. Good luck! I usually try to think about solving a quilt design problem as I am going to sleep and voila! an idea will come to me.
ReplyDeleteI love the panel! I do that sometimes...but for me, it's mostly because I think I have to make a stunning quilt out of it, when I really just want to use and love it... I've been doing a few smaller wallhangings, and enjoying that aspect of quilts as ornament. Hope you're well x
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your challenge piece!
ReplyDeleteI'll sure your knock out that challenge......
