Ballarat Wildlife Park

This morning I left Gisborne in the sunshine and arrived in Ballarat in low cloud and drizzle!! What a change! I took the toy voyages to the park so one could achieve a mission, which was to have kangaroo experiences! Easy to do here!!

Mum and bub!

this was the first time I had seen a red kangaroo close to the fence, their faces and eyes are quite different to the gray kangaroos.

So peaceful!!
Happy days!

For some it was all too much and needed a snooze!

Sidney L had instruction on how to use the toilet in Australia!!  After touring the Park we went for lunch at the Antiques Centre

I loved this beautiful glass vase

and this old church window made into a mirror..chance for a play with the camera!!

and Sylvia met John Wayne!! We did go and visit the Ballarat Patchwork shop...but I didn't take any photos, it is closing down soon so there was very little left on the shelves, but having said that we all came out with some goodies!! Will have to add a photo at a later date!
