The Quilt Show

Has come and gone, I spent last Sunday doing duty, front door, white glove and raffle tickets and then packing up,  we got away earlier than expected which was great!
Some general views
This was my Heritage challenge effort, there were three judges who each chose their favourite entry and mine was one chosen !! How special was that!
My other entry,  the bookcase quilt, pattern from the Missouru Star Company, you can find it on YouTube.
I have been walking most days and the weather has been beautiful, one day I met Adam and Finn and we had a walk together
Such a happy little man, he is getting what looks like 3 teeth on his top gum, it must be so uncomfortable .
Another day I met Beth at the shops and we walked home together, we were lucky to see a seal coming up onto the beach
It didn't stay long, it went back into the water when a lady came along on her bike.
I put the layers of a quilt together on the front deck, I had two helpers that day
Finn and I working on our selfies  he likes seeing himself in the phone camera.
The pelicans were waiting for some fish.
I have been working on an Aussie Hero quilt, hopefully a photo soon.
.
Happy stitching.
