The Supervisor and I had a lovely walk along the beach yesterday
we noticed some fungi coming up
the tide was very high and the sun shining, and yes it was very windy but still very pleasant
more fungi
Later in the morning I went over to Portarlington to deliver some quilts to Joan of Faraway Quilts. Joan very kindly quilts the hospital quilts for me. After visiting Joan I went to Clifton Springs to look for a geocache
I am standing on a look out taking this photo and underneath is a cache. I have been here three times and happily, yesterday I finally found it!
You can see the supports of an old wharf that used to be here.
The fish and turtles are all ironed on and ready to be sewn.
Two nights ago I finished another Old Time Kaleidoscope block, happy smiles here!
Hubby has been weeding and mulching the front garden, we have one rose there that is flowering like mad, the perfume of the flowers is beautiful.
I had a lovely surprise in the mail from Ingrid, gorgeous fish fabric, I might use this on the back of the current Aussie Hero quilt.
Lots to do today so I had better get going.
Happy stitching.
Wonderful photos, your needle work is fantastic I am impressed. Hugs, Valerie
